A fun instalment that helps make better sense of what came before.
I didn’t get this until I saw part 2. I didn’t see the point, and watched both it and part 2 because they were “just on”. By the time I saw part 2, I was so glad that I did.
This is my pattern with Guy Ritchie movies. I wrote off “Lock Stock” as yet another Tarantino facsimile at a time that was full of them (I still feel that way about “Usual Suspects”, which probably isn’t fair). But then I saw “Snatch” and realised the Guy was a genius.
